USADB Cancels Boys and Girls High School All Star Games

USADB Cancels Boys and Girls High School All Star GamesIndianapolis, IN – February 23, 2022 –
Hello USADB youth fans!

USADB Board Officers and Staff regretfully came to an agreement that there will be no Boys and Girls High School All Star Games at USADB in Indianapolis, IN during May 5-7, 2022. We very much would love to see which high school boys and girls were selected to play at All Star Games.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 plays a major factor for this decision. We are aware some deaf school tournaments are canceled as well or tournaments are hosted with limited capacity. We would rather all the players, coaches and fans be healthy and safe.

However, please keep an eye for announcements such as All-American awards, National Basketball player of the year, and more to come.

USADB encourages you all to wash hands, stay healthy and keep distance from other people in public. If you feel ill, stay home but the basketball community is still rolling. Thank you for your support.

The American Athletic Association of the Deaf (AAAD) was established in 1945 in Akron, OH to promote basketball opportunities for deaf athletes. In 1995, restructure of the AAAD led to the formation of USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) with USA Deaf Basketball (USADB) becoming the new national basketball governing body. USADB sponsors and promotes regional and national basketball tournaments for deaf adults each year, the East-West high School All-Stars; and youth and adult teams to the World Championships, PanAm Games and Deaflympics.
